Dragan Jovanovic is a foreign exchange student from Serbia that has been welcomed warmly by students.

The United States is quite different from Serbia. Especially seeing that Jovanovic came from a city.

“Almost everything is different, the people look and act different, the food, the academics, the way kids hang out,” Jovanovic said. 

Jovanovic came with an open mind of what to expect. He wasn’t even informed of the state he was going to until two weeks before his arrival.

His favorite experience has been Christmas break. He had a blast spending time with his host family and even had a Christmas party.

All in all it’s been a great experience for him Jovanovic said.
