Nathan Plucker, son of Amy and Terry Plucker, is the only competitor who attended the Special Olympics Texas Fall classic event at Texas A&M in College Station.

 At the event there were four different competitions: Aquatics, Bocce, Golf and Softball.

Over 1,300 athletes participated, including Nathan.  

More than 300 coaches, 2,000 volunteers, and 4,000 spectators were in attendance.

Plucker participated in the Aquatics competition, which includesd the 400 meter freestyle, 200 meter freestyle, and 100 meter backstroke. Nathan won the gold medal in the 400 meter event at both preliminary competitions.

Nathan won a total of three medals at the fall classic. He won gold medals in both the 400 meter freestyle and 100 meter backstroke, and and won a silver medal in the 200 meter freestyle.
